 Verified I've written many reviews for this property. I think this is our 7th trip to Robbie's place and I still can't say enough good things about this home. Or the island. We love the remote nature. The kind locals and we don't mind the scarcity of stores , etc. we look forward to each time we are blessed enough to come back. Ron and Evie are like family to us now. Thank you for allowing us to have such an amazing family tradition each year. My children started coming here as kids. Now young adults and we can't wait to bring our grandchildren too!

 Verified We came here for solitude and peaceful isolation- it exceeded our expectations. We fish, snorkel/free dive, paddle, and hike, so this was a perfect spot for us. Ron and Evie are the best, and incredibly helpful.The beauty of the property is breathtaking, and the local community is so welcoming.  Verified Doc's place was our own private paradise. Clean, spacious, well-stocked, sweeping ocean views, and a private beach. Ron and Evie were wonderful when we needed them. The wraparound porch is perfect for a cup of coffee in the morning or relax with a Kalik in the evening with a view of the ocean. Bonuses: Generator, Ron's airport service, coconut juice (picked onsite), and an option of a car rental.  We will return. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

 Verified We visited Robby’s Place in October for our first stay. We feel in love with the house, the view, and the serenity of the area. We loved our stay so much that we returned 3 months later with friends. This home is nestled on your own private beach and checks all our boxes for a wonderful vacation. I must share that if you are looking for The hustle bustle of a touristy area, this is not for you. If you want solitude, a local experience and a glimpse of the Bahamian life-Robby’s is superb. Ron and Evie, the caregivers and fishing guide will take care of all your needs. Truly a 20 out of 5 star experience.

 Verified Great experience from beginning to end. Captain Ron picked us up at the airport. He gave us a tour of local restaurants, grocery, gas station, liquor stores. Ms Evie meet us at the door ensured we had everything we needed including fresh ground coffee beans. Both checked on us the next day to ensure we had everything. The house is clean comfortable and spacious with a full bathroom for each bedroom. The beach is private and peaceful. We saw turtles and crabs, went paddle boarding, canoeing and walking on the beach.The WiFi was good. Our service provider did not have agreements with the Bahamas so we had limited internet when we were away from Robbie’s Place.

 Verified This was our 5th year at Robbie's place. If it's possible - It just gets better. Ron and Evie are some of our favorite people and the scenery remains absolute perfection. The house is so comfortable - the kitchen is stocked very well. Every year I think we should try another location and every year I come right back. I just can't imagine anywhere being better than this. Thank you Doc, Dee, Ron and Evie for the best week of our entire year. See you next year!!!!

 Verified Amazing place!! my husband and 3 boys thoroughly enjoyed it. We also went with another family so 10 slept comfortably. We had a choice of gas or charcoal barbecue. The kitchen was very nicely set up with everything we needed. The island was very friendly. We most certainly will be back.

DINING

Meals can be prepared by local chefs, and each culinary experience pairs island flavors with a combination of locally sourced meats (wild boar, free-range chicken) and seafood (conch, lobster, grouper, snapper), joined with home-grown fruits and vegetables.

Fishing

Andros is known as the “Bonefish Capital of the World”. Not only does Andros deliver some of the best numbers of bonefish, but a large variety of fish. We are located in the North Andros area, which puts us nearby (less than 3 miles) to the renowned western flats, the oceanside flats, and the Joulter Cays.

Island Culture

Andros is characteristically known for fishing, crabs, and lots of native medicinal bushes. Andros Island also has the most extensive reef system in the Bahamas and the third-largest in the world, along with many blue holes perfect for exploring. It is genuinely an eco-traveler’s paradise. The island is also home to Androsia, a vibrant and beautiful fabric exploding with color. The people of Andros are warm, friendly, and some of the most hospitable you will ever meet.
